However, signage for snowy conditions\u2014as well as for trails and roads\u2014has evolved over time. In this exhibit, we\u2019ve gathered various elements that were used to mark early trails and roads, and we\u2019ve also included examples of the different tools used for navigation during snowstorms.<br\/>This intriguing installation is located on the Camino de los Pilones between Fortanete and La Iglesuela del Cid. You\u2019ll come across it as you walk along the trail. But if you\u2019d like to visit by car, here are the directions from Fortanete:<br\/>Take the trail that leaves the village toward the Loreto Hermitage and continue to the right. Stay on the main trail, which climbs gradually and then continues through pine forests across flatter terrain. You\u2019ll find the site on the right, at a wide fork in the trails, in the area known as \u201cLa Cruz Gorda,\u201d where the base of an old wayside shrine (Peir\u00f3n) is located (5.8 km).      <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3907488 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3907488\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>To get there from <strong>Cantavieja<\/strong>, take the road toward Mosqueruela, and after 7.6 km, turn right onto a dirt road marked <strong>\u201cFortanete<\/strong>.\u201d Follow this main dirt road until you reach the \u201cLa Cruz Gorda\u201d area, after traveling 10.3 km.
