On the rocky ledge where Allepuz is located, the San Cristóbal peirón marks the beginning of the most attractive stretch of stone pylons: more than a hundred units of these structures crowd the edge of the itinerary, declared an Asset of Cultural Interest (BIC) in the category of Historic Site. The pylons mark the path exactly every 35-40 meters. The rocky hills devoid of sparse vegetation make you imagine in other times of snow and blizzards to travelers, traders and masoveros with their horses through these windy moors.
