He is, without a doubt, the main character of the road, and the Camino de los Pilones has also often been known as the Camino de Jaime I (James I Road).

Its figure is located on the Camino de los Pilones between Allepuz and Villarroya de los Pinares and you will find it when you walk along the road. But if you want to visit it by car, these are the directions from Allepuz:

Take the road from Allepuz to Villarroya de los Pinares and when you reach the Puerto de Sollavientos you take a track on the left. This forks immediately, but you have to keep to the right and always continue on this main track. A little further on there is a fork where you also take the track to the right. Continue until you cross the Pilones path next to a small pine forest (3,4Km.) Under the shelter of the pines you will find the Rey Jaime I.
